Meet Victoria Carrillo

About Me
Hi, I’m Victoria Carrillo, a passionate advocate for conservation, youth empowerment, community engagement, and outreach. With a background in nonprofit programming, community outreach, and education, I bring a unique intersection of experience in both human and wildlife services.

After earning both my bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Florida, I’ve spent the past several years building a career dedicated to supporting underserved populations and promoting sustainable change. Whether it’s coordinating academic enrichment programs for at-promise youth, managing outreach initiatives in pediatric healthcare, or volunteering with animal rescues, my work is rooted in compassion, equity, and impact.

I’ve had the opportunity to implement conservation curricula, manage grant-funded programs, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from schools and local governments to grassroots nonprofits. My study abroad experience in Belize with social development and sustainability NGOs deepened my understanding of global conservation challenges and ignited my drive to make environmental education more accessible.

Alongside my professional work, I am an aspiring photographer and videographer. I love capturing the beauty of nature and the authentic moments that tell a story, whether through documenting community impact or framing wildlife in their natural habitats. This creative outlet fuels my passion for storytelling and helps me connect people to the world around them in meaningful ways.

As I continue to grow in the fields of conservation and public service, I remain committed to using my voice, skills, and heart to bridge the gaps between people and nature, and between communities and the resources they need to thrive.

Let’s connect!
